Thinking About Buying Wholesale Designer Clothing?
1. The Benefits of Buying Wholesale Designer Clothing

One of the best aspects of buying Designer is the huge profits margins coupled with extremely high demand. Top brands demand the highest price and buyers gladly hand over their credit cards. Best of all, there is always a new brand or stlye that’s coming out. It never ends.
2. Beware Of Suppliers Who Sell Fakes
Before you get too excited about all the money you’re gonna make buying and selling designer wholesale clothing, there’s something we must discuss - “FAKES”.
Also known as “knock-offs”, “bootleg”, “counterfit”, etc. Some suppliers use code language such as “Grade A” or “Grade AAA”, which typically refers to high quality fakes. Anyone serious about making long-term money in ths business, should AVOID such suppliers like the plague. Most people want to run a legitimate business, you should too!
3. Payment Methods
A reputable supplier will always offer a variety of payment methods. Most will provide an invoice and then request a valid visa or mastercard for payment. For example, one supplier from New York, will request a 20% deposit and the remaining 80% can paid Cash On Delievery. Please note, this is the exception, most suppliers will demand 100% up-front before they ship to you. If they are legit, they will gladly accept credit card or paypal as a method of payment.
Having said that, some suppliers will only accept wire transfer, or western union. This is a red flag! You should avoid these suppliers since there’s a good possibility the goods are fake.
4. Delivery Time
One of the worst aspects of the wholesale business is delievery time. Before you place your order, please verify that the supplier actually has the goods in stock, ready for immediate shippment! You should explicitly say “Are these goods ready for immediate delivery?” If not, ask how many days will you have to wait before goods are shipped? Believe me, there is nothing worse than waiting for a delivery that should have arrived weeks ago! So, do NOT assume the supplier has the goods in stock!
5. Overseas Suppliers
This is an area where many “newbies” get ripped off. They find a source in Hong Kong who is offering Nike or some brand name and huge savings. What you need to realize is the most overseas suppleirs sell fakes and knock-offs, and only accept western union! Remember that red flag? Don’t get me wrong, there are a few legitimate overseas suppliers but most are simply trying to make a quick dollar! Excercise extreme caution and only make payment via paypal or with your credit card!
6. What To Sell?
In my experience ladies jeans, were always easy to move. However, it’s your decision. You should sell items that you’re passionate about and that have a good profit margin!
7. Wholesale Supplier Lists
I’ve seen some really garbage list over the years. Most have outdated leads that have NOT been verified while others simply include false inforomation. As a result, I only reccomend one source for wholesaler suppliers - SaleHoo!
Honestly, SaleHoo is much more than just a list - it’s a community of real buyers who share information in their online forum. That’s right, you will get to read real reviews from other buyers who have already done business with various wholesalers! The one-time membship fee will pay for itself once you place your first wholesale order.
